In early 2010, GR Sound Solution undertook the following contract work, value in excess of £34,000 at Billingshurst Village Hall and Council Offices.

As the AV leader within the church, I am responsible for the management and upkeep of any systems as well as the ongoing development of a volunteer team of operators. Three of the major concerns I had when considering an upgrade to the AV installation were: Understanding what it is we wanted and how it would contribute to the church’s vision.Being sensitive to the environment – that is the building.Providing a system that was easy to operate for inexperienced and technically unqualified operators.

From the outset, GRSS communicated openly with a clear aspiration to understand our needs through the establishment of a strong working relationship. There was a clear willingness to meet or take a telephone call without giving the sense of being inconvenienced and all queries were addressed quickly.

Of particular note was the patience with which “evolving” requirements (probably best referred to as the client changing their mind) were dealt with whilst continuing to offer excellent advice.

During installation, there was little interference with the day to day running of the church building, which is open throughout any working day; on occasions where a sensitive approach was required I received positive comments from church members and visitors who felt that GRSS engineers continued their work with the appropriate respect to others.

On a financial front, the price was comparable with other quotes for the same work but the choice of GRSS was based on a wider perception of value for money and the recognition that they presented themselves as a well established professional and competent business who were capable of responding to our needs.

On a personal note, I found great pleasure in working with team and have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

We are very confident that if there were any technical problems GR Sound Solutions would give us swift and thorough attention.

Thanks to all at GR Sound Solutions, we have an excellent system at a fraction of the cost (around one third less) than we were quoted by another leading company.

Thank you very much for for providing the audio equipment for our Sussex Weald Bike Ride event on Sunday 23rd May to raise funds for St Catherines Hospice.

We had a wonderful turnout in spite of the very hot weather on Sunday of 240 riders and your equipment made such a difference to them starting off in the morning.
